Son of Zeus
Apollo was the son of Zeus and the titan Leto. Apollo's older sister and twin was the Greek goddess of hunt, Artemis.
"The healer"
Apollo was also called "the healer" because he taught man the art of medicine. People also feared him because he could bring illnesses to people he wasn't pleased with or didn't like.
Apollo and his Lyre
Apollo was given the lyre (an instrument) by Hermes as compensation for his stolen cattle. He fell in love with the instrument and also became the god of music.
