The Ancient Greeks worshipped to all gods, but their main one was Zeus. They would worship the gods by praying on their feet while their hands were up in the sky praising Zeus and the other heavenly gods. Sometimes they would kneel down to the earth and hit the ground powerfully, so the gods could hear them. In their prayers they asked for help and support from the gods. They also offered goods to the gods to make them happy ex: wine, oil, cheese, milk. According to some beliefs their have been also some attempts of human sacrifices to please the gods. Greeks also made sacrifices to the dead, because of the belief that the dead lived in the underworld ruled by Hades, the God of the Underworld.
