Hera was the wife and sister of Zeus. Although Zeus had many affairs, she was still his main wife and together they had 6 children, Ares, Enyo, Hebe, Eileithyia, Hephaestus, and Eris
Hera's worship
People worshiped Hera in many different ways but the message was always to get to her. Hera's most devoted worshipers lived in the city of Argos. On the island of Melos, Hera was worshipped before any other gods. A large temple in Hera's honor was built in ancient Olympia.
Childhood
Hera's whole childhood and late teens was spent in her fathers stomach, yes his stomach. In fact right when Hera was born she was swallowed by her titan father, Cronus, worried that one of his children might take his power from him.
