When she was little, she asked her father, Zeus that she never have to marry. Zeus granted her wish and she was able to hunt whatever she wanted. He gave her a silver bow and arrows, with whom she could kill anyone she displeased.
Apollo's Twin
Artemis mother was a women names Leto, and her father Zeus. She was born on the island of Ortygia (Delos). As soon as she was born, Artemis helped in the birth of her twin brother Apollo.
Rejection to Love
Artemis always rejected marriage and love. One day the goddess was bathing a hunter names, Actaeon stumbled into her. She got really mad at him and turned him into a stag and his hounds killed him.
